If your struggles are with your child, we as a team see what you are going through. We hear what you are going through and most of us have felt some of what you feel. Two simple tools to put in your tool box are:
Accept that you are in this with your child. Create an evening ritual where you write down all of the anger, sadness, mistakes, etc. from the day and then you destroy it - Let it go. You are committed to this.
Watch your child or loved one sleep. Take deep breaths. Seeing them in this state will remind you of all the good bits and the essential role you play in their vulnerable lives. Not only that, it will provide a space to reflect on all the ways that they add to your world.
Accept that, along with the challenges, tomorrow will bring moments of joy. We would love to shoulder with you to increase these moments.
