We recognize that some of the trials families can face can at times seem insurmountable and difficult to manage. We have also seen from experience that family members who feel supported and equipped with the tools to do everyday life well are more likely to see better results from their program.
When we work with a family, we additionally provide counselling support to family members who might be wanting to explore their experiences and other ways of coping for eg, a sibling who is unsure how to cope with their brother or sister having a disability, a mum who is frazzled and unsure if she can carry the load, parents who are having a hard time maintaining their own relationship and juggling the kids.
By combining ABA and counselling support where families need it, we aim to help them achieve the best outcomes possible through their work with us.
