I have been reflecting on my recent challenges and, once again, they have definitely become in the ‘juggle’. I am passionate about all areas of my life, and I want to do each and every one to the very best of my ability. These are (not in order of importance!):
- being a wife
- being a mummy to two beautiful, but extremely lively, toddlers
- working with individuals and families
- running NETwork which is steadily expanding in numerous ways
- completing my Masters
- keeping up with research in the field
- supporting and training SENCOs, schools, Local Authorities, organisations and agencies
- being a daughter, sister, granddaughter,
- keeping house!
- church responsibilities
The list does not finish there………………………
Looking back over the past five and a half years since returning to the UK from Australia, I can see that the most peaceful and fluid seasons have been where I have had a shared vision with my hubby Ludo and with Shelley and that we have all gone on this journey called life together. These seasons have been when I have seen my life as a big circle as opposed to a list. So, this year, my children will be sharing my journey with me as opposed to compartmentalising them.
What changes are you making this year? I suggest looking to a successful season in your life as the base for expanding and using as a foundation to build towards the life you are looking to achieve. My goal is not for a set of material things or a specific environment or circumstance, but is a state and feeling within my life and our home.
