So another term is over and the festive holidays have begun. You might find yourself with your social calendar packed full, and lots of things to plan and think about. Will there be enough mince pies? How are you going to fit the turkey in your oven? How can you stop the children eating all the chocolates from the advent calendar before Christmas day?!
In order to navigate the festive season perhaps the best way to stay on top of things is to have a plan! Make a list of all the things you have to do, and when they need to be done by, and decide who to delegate to!
Have a “Do” and a “Due” date. Figure out what you need to do, when you will do it, and give it a date it needs to be done by.
- Delegation. Give it to someone who has a strength in that area and offer to take something else off their plate that you are better at. Lighten the load, by helping each other out.
