Our negative thoughts can be unhelpful in enabling us to move forwards in life. Here is a suggestion for managing them;
-Get to know your thoughts – the chances are your thoughts are quite repetitive, but the fact is thoughts are actually just thoughts. The only power they have is the power we attach to them. This means we CHOOSE which thoughts we give weight to and which we don’t. The better you get to know your thoughts, the better you’ll be able to manage them.
This is the
first step toward making meaningful changes.
