If you see that your child is motivated to engage with an item, you will help them be successful.
Your child is interested in playing with a puzzle, but is not able to successfully get the pieces in. As you see them looking at the puzzle piece you will hand it to them and help guide their hand to put it in the slot successfully.
Your child loves music and the song ends.
As you see them look at the toy that makes the music, you will press the button to make the music play and dance with them.
While doing this, you can also engage them using language. The next section discusses how to speak to your child to enhance language.
