There’s a quote that says ‘When you face what you fear, you become fearless’. At NETwork Interventions we are firm believers in this too. The most guaranteed way to stay anxious is to avoid the thing that you are anxious about. Whilst this might mean you don’t get that uncomfortable feeling, it might also mean you don’t get to live the life you want to live doing the things you want to do.
Whether you are a parent experiencing anxiety yourself, or reading with your child in mind, if reading this has brought up questions for you about what you or someone close to you may be currently experiencing, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us for more information.
We are committed to helping people overcome the barriers they face in order to move forwards and thrive in life. We know that each person we meet has their own unique story, and we create care packages based on the individual needs of the person we are working with.
Did you know?
Our bodies play a huge role in our anxiety. When we are anxious our breathing tends to become faster and shallow, rather than deep. This reduces the amount of carbon dioxide in our body which means we don’t get enough oxygen. This makes us feel more tense and reduces our ability to think clearly. When you catch yourself feeling anxious take a minute to take some deeper, slower breaths. The great thing about this tool is you can do this wherever you are whether it is in a highly important meeting, sitting in a traffic jam or making the kids dinner, and it’s FREE!
